I would describe myself as an escapist writer. I've always preferred creepy stories. I grew up reading the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark books and I think they have really influenced my taste in stories. As I grew up I found that I really enjoyed satisfying character arcs, especially when you gain a profound understanding of the protagonist and their plight. Everyone is wounded in some way and I like to bring that to the surface as often as possible. 

I love when stories manage to give you goose bumps, when you can create something that can shake a reader on a biological level you're doing something right, it is my goal to give everyone goose bumps.
