I'm a 16-year old girl that loves to write, as you can tell. I hope to one day become a novelist and possibly an archaeologist. I love ancient history, and the Greeks are my favorite ancient civilization.
The inspiration for my name, PerdixRose, is from a Greek myth. Perdix was the nephew to the Greek inventor Daedalus. Daedalus was a genius and the son of Athena therefore having wisdom and intelligence as attributes. His nephew, Perdix, was also a son of Athena and very talented, this was obvious to the old inventor and he grew jealous of Perdix knowing the child was smarter than him. There are many versions of this myth but I do know Daedalus ended up pushing Perdix off a building and Athena turned him into a Partridge before he fell, therefore the bird Partridge comes from Perdix or variations of this. Daedalus was branded with the murder's mark in the form of a bird, the Partridge.
Rose is just my middle name.
Some things I enjoy are, thunderstorms, books, traveling, and friends. I love music but it depends on the song itself not the band.
I stick to my own opinions and morals so I wouldn't bother to try to change me, although I am open to hearing you out, I do listen to reason.
I am a Christian and don't bother critiquing me on this because it is who I am and I'd appreciate if you'd respect that as I would respect your beliefs.
I am a fan of many things, InuYasha, Fruba, Angel Beats, Harry Potter, Adventure Time, FMA, Percy Jackson etc. However, I do not believe in going 'fan girl' and humiliating myself. If that is what you like, that's your choice, I just won't join in the screaming.
Anyway I hope you found this little excerpt into my life insightful and entertaining but I do not feel like talking about myself. However, this is in no way going to show you how I'm really like.
