Penny-wise

My real name is Penny, but I go by Penny-wise. I am watching you this second, in my sly disguise. 

I may be the person in front of you, or the one behind. But don't try and look for me, for you won't like what you find. 

And if you ignore my warning and dare to risk your life, then I will slit your throat with my sharpest knife.

But on the odd occasion that I am feeling kind, I may spare your life but now our fates are intertwined. 

You must agree to these conditions and give me what I say. And if you don't deliver, I'm afraid you'll have to pay. 

I will offer you a paper boat that's soaked in sewer water, and swap you for a fresh arm straight from the house of slaughter. 

I will offer you a balloon that is coated bloody red, in exchange for a body that's exactly three days dead.

I will offer you a place in my little homely sewer, in return for some juicy eyes on a nice, long skewer. 

Now you must provide everything I ask of you. Dare to disappoint me and your nightmares will come true.

Go to sleep tonight and tuck your blanket to your chin, and if you peek under the bed, you'll see what lurks within.

If you hear some eerie whispers and the whistling of the wind, then pray to God that it's just that and not the human that I skinned. 

Now I shall take my leave to go feast on fleshy eyes, and remember not to mess with Penny, it simply isn't wise.
