Mohamed Yunus is a Tanzanian writer and independent documentary maker. Prior to his creative endeavors, Rafiq worked in development, indigenous and youth issues for over ten years. He is of a mixed Segeju and Punjabi ancestry, an identity that he explores in his creative and non fictional works. He is a co-author of Landscape of the Heart, a poetry anthology. Rafiq is also the author of Hope's Hunter and other short stories. He lives in Bagamoyo, Tanzania.
