I'm currently living in California's dusty Central Valley, but have traveled through much of the U.S., Mexico, and Central America, and, as a matter of fact, am preparing to write short stories and at least one novel about these beautiful places.

I write for Blue State Daily, Progressive Liberal, Pale Blue News, and The US Blues. I also write on health, and especially wildlife when I get the chance and worked for daily newspapers in their heyday.

There is so much beauty in the world that I've been chasing it for as long as I can, hoping to catch it every now and again. Along the way, I have been inspired by my beautiful cats and silly dogs who love me even on a bad hair day, a partner who is supportive, and I've been lucky enough to see sunlight stream across a wild parrot's back.

And it is worth chasing, worth sticking your neck out for, and I have learned to do the things I am afraid of. In this way, I have learned.
