I was born and raised in and around Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, but these days you can find me rolling around Saigon (with my gf Jess) on a bad-ass 110cc Honda Wave. I drink an unhealthy number of local coffees, and I spend most of my time hiding in my office to write. Three years ago, I quit my boring engineering job to move to Vietnam. It started as a kind of quarter-life crisis, grasping to hold onto my twenties, but has since morphed into a passion for writing. 

It's my dream to publish books that get 1-star reviews after people read the first 7 pages. My favorite style to write in is non-fiction/humor, though, I do dabble in travel writing and fiction on my blog: www.Matthew-Pike.com
