After my last update, I was in the process of writing a couple of drafts for the next 5 chapters, hoping to publish a massive update. But life happened and I couldn’t write at all. I thought I would be more upfront in saying that this story was on hiatus instead of making false promises I can’t keep. I love this story and want to do it justice despite my writer block and other commitments. I hope to have a new chapter out within the next two months but that’s not a firm date. Thanks for reading everyone and stay healthy!

Hey! I’m not sure how long it’s been since you’ve been active, but I hope you’re ok.
I know that there are people, just like myself, waiting for an update to your fics, but PLEASE don’t let it pressure you or make you feel bad about yourself for not having it out.
Reading a book can take less than an hour, but actually writing the book can take years. You shouldn’t fault yourself or BLAME yourself for being unable to write.
What you’ve written so far is wonderful and I have no doubt whatever you write next will be as equally valuable.
Trust yourself and take care of yourself. Don’t worry about us readers, we will have time to find other books in the meantime.
Just focus on being kind to yourself.

I have a draft written and plan for the next few chapters. I probably won't be able to revise them until summer time tbh. It's not that I'm unenthusiastic, but disappointed in myself.

I know ur super busy and probably not done with the new chapter of ‘A Mother’s Touch’ but I was wondering if u can make a chapter or a scene where Aylee and Shoto visits shoot’s birth mother. (U don’t have to if u don’t want to. I was just wondering wat their meeting and reaction would be like since Shoto calls Aylee mom a few times.)
@lindawangwang hey, yeah you're right about not having an update. honestly not sure if I want that interaction to be positive or not. A lot of readers want aylee to help rei be a better mom but I feel conflicted. I essentially created this story to give Shoto the mother he deserves and I wouldn't know how to approach a fractured relationship like that healing. Any advice? thanks!
