Lisa-Jo is a daughter of South Africa. She got her law degree from Notre Dame but has also eaten mangoes and hunted jack rabbits on the shores of the "great, grey-green, greasy Limpopo River." She has published three nonfiction books but has game rangers, hunters and conservationists in all kinds of nooks and crannies of her family. So it was only a matter of time before she started writing down the kinds of stories she grew up with.
