Kristen Kuykendall

I've been writing since I was around 8 years old. I began with poems and short stories about animals. I left writing for awhile during High School in order to focus on band and grades. But, my heart was still in writing. Any time I hit a bump in the road you would find me writing some sort of poem. It was my outlet.
     I came up with an idea of a novel or trilogy if you will about an elf named Meridia and her sister Leia. It never got fully written.
    Living in a small rural town is the worst place to be as a writer. You don't have much encouragement and around here there's not that many readers. Most people are focused on football and what new series just hit tv. Not what new plot twist they just came up with or what was New York's Bestseller.
     Now I have found Wattpad and I am so thankful. Wattpad is such a wonderful thing for aspiring writers. Author's that haven't quite made it big yet. One day I hope one of my books will be someone's favorite. I can't wait to meet you new writers!
