In memory of my sweet little Cheekers. ? - 9/30/23.
You were the best pupper and your memory will live on both in my heart, and in Demon in Salem. The rainbows are a little brighter now, but I will miss having you curled up at my feet while I write.

Hi
Will your story ‘Cralen’ ever be completed or has it been published elsewhere, making the September update the final addition as it will remain as only a ‘SAMPLE’? I hope not as the synopsis has got me super intrigued and am very eager to read it.

@SnowfakesElegance <3 All that is there is what exists. I went thorough a small patch of life and it got left behind :( But I would like to pick it up again! The Xarcarics are going to have a story like that weaves with the Kalraien.

An 'Earl's Retreat' snippit (though it has more to do with the end of The Duke's Library):

          Victoria to Emma
“Oh, I’m so happy, and excited, and every other emotion one could feel for you!” Emma exclaimed. “I imagine His Grace is over the moon.”
Victoria glanced over her shoulder and grimaced. “Andres doesn’t know yet, and he won’t for several weeks yet. We’re leaving for Spain in a fortnight and, after all the time I put in convincing him to allow me to accompany him, I’ll be damned if I get left behind to spend another frozen winter in London by myself.”
“If you are ill several times a day, how will you keep him from finding out?”
“He is so deeply involved with planning the trip and confirming last-minute details, that he is quite oblivious to my condition.”

          Andres to Christian
“Your daughter will have a cousin soon, I expect. I am still waiting for Ria to gather the nerve to tell me, but the signs are all there.” Andres chuckled, taking a sip of his brandy.
“Congratulations, my friend. Though, I’ve never known my cousin to lack the courage to speak her mind.”
“Touché. However, I believe she thinks if she informs me, I won’t allow her to join me on my tour of Spain this fall. As if I would willingly suffer through a meeting with my family sans her tranquility to keep me grounded. Quite honestly, I am enjoying watching her dance around the news.”

Have you ever had THAT feeling? When you are sitting outside during a full moon, enjoying a light breeze and the freshness of the night air — and you suddenly feel something watching you? A sudden chill, an uncomfortable sensation of being observed — a vague sense of something lurking behind in the darkness? And when you look around to see what it is — there is nothing there. Nothing at all. But the tingle of that intuition lingers on, and you cannot shake off the feeling of uneasiness.
Your imagination runs wild. A shiver runs down your spine. You start to think, maybe vampires aren't as fictional as you thought.
