I am a retired Special Education teacher. I graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, and attended graduate school in Ottawa, Toronto, and Vancouver. 

I am currently working on a YA/NA crime/mystery series. My current published work is a non-fiction memoir "Through a Lens of Emptiness: Reflections on Life, Longevity and Contentment" - www.lalanweiss.com

I also present workshops and talks on memoir writing and the value of memoir writing as legacy.
