Kelsy Mascorro

Kelsy Mascorro was born on January 2, 1994 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. She lived with her mother, Melissa Mascorro, after her parents' divorce in 1996, until her mother died of a heart attack in 2008. In 2009, she moved to Corpus Christi, Texas to live with her grandparents. She was adopted by her grandparents, Jerry and Frances Ward, in 2011. 
Mascorro has achieved awards for her writing, such as 1st place in SWTX's 2011 Art Expo's Creative Writing category, as well as a Best of the Class English award for her passion for learning. Mascorro plans to attend Del Mar College this summer in order to get her basics out of the way, then plans to attend Texas A&M - Corpus Christi to Duel-Major in Creative Writing and Studio Art with a Minor in Photography, in order to go into Advertising. 
In her free time, Mascorro works on her novels or does written Role Play Games with her online friends. Mascorro also sketches, draws, and takes photos.
