I'm Kaitlyn! I turn seventeen in just a few weeks and I gotta tell ya, I cannot wait to be that much closer to 18.
I'm friendly and funny, but in a way you wouldn't expect (i.e. I mainly make TWSS jokes). I'm a total nerd, and yes, a teacher's pet. I'm the girl who always has a smile on her face no matter what and the kind of girl who makes sure you always are smiling too.
I started writing back in middle school when things got really tough for me at home. It always been a way to help me express my anger and sadness. 
Most of my stuff is depressing and if you don't like that, well then...too bad? I've been trying to start something longer and get an actual story written but you know us procrastinators. Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow?
I'm a big reader and if you ask I'll be totally happy to read you stuff! If I remember to get to it...being the procrastinator I am. If you like my stuff, let me know. I appreciate all insight and advice and comments as long as you're respectful. 
I love a good romance, the kind where the guy and the girl are best friends forever and end up happy. I also love the weird sci-fi sort of books like Ender's Game and Uglies. Those books where new technology and a different civilization causes an uprising. Shades of Grey (NOT Fifty Shades of Grey) by jasper fforde is a seriously good book and I recommend him along with James Patterson, Simone Elkeles, and Orsen Scott Card.
I enjoy Lord of the Rings almost as much as I enjoy Disney and Leo Dicaprio. I absolutely cannot stand vampires, werewolves, and witches. So, if you want me to read something of yours that is that genre...sorry! It's just absolutely not my thing.
