I'm writing to calm the thoughts, to erase the memories, to void the past and to find myself, or lose myself in the stories.  Whichever comes first is fine with me.  I write about my own inner demons, my own turmoil and thoughts superimposed onto those in my stories, the ones that tell me what they are doing and where they want to go.  I am along for the ride.
