Fact of Le Day: The first Oranges weren't orange. So that proves that the Orange was named after the color or...... nope, that fact just makes the question more confusing. Because then the color couldn't be named after the fruit if they weren't orange, but the fruit couldn't be named after the color if they weren't orange. Unless orange wasn't orange in the first place????????

@JustBooksCrew I shall go you with some of my random knowledge. The color was named after the ripe fruit. The first oranges were green, but turned orange when they were actually ripe.
