My name is Joseph and I am an autistic writer. I enjoy staying at home and immersing myself in fiction. I like fiction for its escapism, I like fictional worlds because i find them more interesting than reality. I imagine my own realities and I fabricate my own characters from various genres, imagining how they would react with one another, how their worlds would coincide.

I have a photographic memory when it comes to fiction, in particular when watching fictional shows. I can reply the things I have watched in my mind in a way that allows me to see and hear the characters and reanimate them to play in my own scenarios.

I love adventure, comedy, fantasy and sci-fi, and these genres all play a part in the worlds i create in my own writing. I have dyslexia which can make transferring my imagination and ideas onto paper challenging at times. As for why I am writing my own stories... I have always been able to see my own stories in my imagination but i have never actually had the chance to make any of my stories into something physical, into something that can be shared.

I hope that i am able to make something that other people can enjoy too and I would love to get some advice from other readers on how I can improve my writing. I am aware I won't be able to please everyone and I know I will get some negative feedback but I understand that not everyone likes the same thing! And that's okay!
