ALMOST DONE:
          
          
          "What are you doing here?" Roslyn questioned the woman as she moved in her direction.
          
          Donna stood. 
          
          "I'm here to take you back home, to your family."
          
          "Home? Family? The Hamiltons are not my family." Roslyn hissed softly. "And I am not going anywhere with you."
          
          "Roslyn, don't make me get the police involved." 
          
          "Go ahead - call them. Once they get here you can explain to them how you turned a blind eye to the abuse I suffered; mentally, sexually and emotionally; all so that you can make a name for yourself."
          
          Roslyn watched Donna swallow.
          
          "Wait - you're the case worker?" Felicity question with a glared painted on her beautiful face.
          
          Donna looked from Roslyn to Felicity. "I am."

It's been nearly a week since Annalise gave Alice her memories, of their friendship, back and things have been a little on edge, especially since Alice had that vision. Edward was in a sort of panic. He rarely left her side and that was only when she needed to utilize the bathroom. He was afraid that if he let her out of his sight, he'd lose her forever. Alice, almost every minute of everyday, was  telling her that what happened to her was not her, Annalise's, fault and that she didn't blame her. Everyone else, well, they were all taking turns watching her, being with her, to make sure that she was safe. 
          
          "Okay, seriously, this has to stop." Annalise said as they all say in the living area. 
          
          "Annalise -" Edward started but she held up a hand to stop him.
          
          "Look, I understand that you're all worried about me, but this taking shifts to keep me protected, following me around all day everyday has got to stop." She stated softly. "It's not fair to any of you."
          
          "Sweetie, we want to do this." Esme stated.
          
          "I understand that, but I don't want you to. I can protect myself. I don't need all of you putting your lives on hold for me." Annalise stated. 
          
          "We're immortal vampires. We have more than enough time." Said Emmett.
          
          Annalise sighed. They were stubborn. That fact both amused and annoyed her beyond comprehension. A family full of stubborn vampires. What have I gotten myself into?
          
          "Don't argue with me on this, Emmett. I will not have either one of you risk your life, or the life of another, to keep me protected." She looked around at each and every one of them. "You can either accept that or not. Either way...I won't put up with this any longer."
          
          "Annalise -" Carlisle started but she stopped him. 
          
          "Don't. I don't plan on changing my mind any time soon, so please, stop."

Chapter 17 Sneak Peek 
          
          Annalise found Edward standing at the edge of a cliff, his hands in at his sides and his head down. She didn't have to see his face to know the look on his face. 
          
          "You were right. I should have walked away.  I never should have fell in love with you." his voice wrapped around her like a silk blanket but his words pierced her heart like a dagger. "Loving you will bring my downfall."
          
          Annalise took a breath then moved to stand beside him. "Do you really believe that?" she asked and looked up at him. 
          
          Edward didn't look at her. "I don't know.  I love you, Annalise, with everything in me."
          
          "But...?"
          
          "If loving you, and being with you, means I have to lose you quicker than I found you. I just - I can't help but wonder..."
          
          "If I'm worth loving?"
          
          Edward turned his head and looked at her as she stared out at the woods in front of them.
