Reading, reading and more reading.

If imagination is the only weapon in the war against reality, books are my weapon of choice.

If reading is a vacation and fantasies dimensions, then I'm a perpetual jet setter because reality is too small to call home.

♤If I had a WP back story, it'd go liddis:♤

A long time ago, a no-account silent reader lurked on WP for a long time and skedaddled out when WP implemented the no-account-no-reads policy. And now, three blue moons and a potato later, this reader decides to return with an account, mainly because:
(a) convenience (Lazytown happens to be my hometown.)
(b) I felt sorry for not supporting my fave authors.

The amount of vomments I leave are directly proportional to how much I'm enjoying a book. If I'm enjoying it so much I forget to comment, I make sure to tell. I lurk a great deal, so vomments= only if I like it, so if I vommented throughout a whole book, you can safely say I liked it!

I regularly DNF a book if I'm not feeling it anymore.

Authors who reply to comments are magical perfection.

I welcome book recs (but no longer taking critique requests)-if it has good writing, a strong female lead, no insta-love and *healthy* relationship dynamics-none of that romanticizing abuse shiznizzle-is not mature, and no Mary Sues/Gary Stus (the list can go on), I'll be glad to read it.

I don't critique unless asked to- if it's too rough I simply DNF and move on, instead of commenting everywhere.

♤Personal policy goes a little like this:♤

Kindness and understanding is always the better option. Humor and sass don't have to be rude or belittling to other people. The Golden Rule is always a good idea.

If I violate this, feel free to call me out, I'd appreciate it.
