Giftwrites is a writer born in Imo State, Nigeria, who chose the road that burned in her chest over the one life handed her.
She holds a degree in Biology Education but her heart has always belonged to words. She writes from the middle of the journey, honest and still walking, for everyone else who is too.
Her debut poetry collection My Weakness Lied to Me was written in the quiet war between the voice that says you cannot and the soul that refuses to agree. It is for the ones who have been silenced, doubted and told that growth was for other people.
