If you couldn't tell from the name, my father Vince was a big fan of Rocky.

I'm writing a brutally honest memoir about growing up gay with a violently schizophrenic father, and a mother... I am not qualified to diagnose, in an immigrant family in rural Australia.

From the age of ten, I try to self-soothe through a porn addiction, which only escalates throughout my teens, and adult years, into a full blown sex addiction before I'm even old enough to order a beer at the pub.

I've documented my experiences escorting and creating kinky AF porn throughout the world. My compulsive hookups that look like confidence from the outside, but are really a nervous system begging for relief. I write about shame, suicidal ideation, and the ways kink and being desired& can become a survival strategy when emotional neglect teaches you you're only worth what you can provide.

I share my ongoing struggles continuing to engage with my dysfunctional family to paint the picture of how my maladaptive belief systems formed, showing what it took to finally come to a level of self-awareness where I was able to step out of my self-harming patterns and change. What I'm aiming for is: What my bones know , merged with 50 shades of GAAAAAYYYY!

I speak candidly about the aspects of my sex addiction I hold the most shame around, including my internal thoughts to show how I engage with sex.

This book is the story of how I finally stop performing, name what happened, and start building a life that's connected, and mine.
