Well, hi everyone... *timid wave* I really suck at doing this sort of thing but let me give it a shot. Er, let's see here...

So I'm from Jamaica, and sorry to say that I have no athletic ability whatsoever. I've been a bit of a klutz for a good portion of my life so it would be safe to assume that I've had quite a few face offs (or 'downs') with the dirt and pavement during my little over two decades of existence. Fate has been much kinder to me these days though- thank goodness!

For as long as I can remember, I've always liked to read and somewhere along the line, I decided that writing could be a fun hobby. . As such, I found myself dabbling in the poetry and short-story writing departments. To date though, only my friends have read my material as I’m too afraid to let the world see what I've pulled from some dark corner in my mind and believe me, even I get lost up there sometimes... It's kind of like an attic in my head with hordes of stored ideas that have been buried for years beneath mounds of dust and whatnot, but don't worry- I have no bats in my belfry. A few cobwebs maybe but no bats. ;) So I'm hoping that I'll grow a pair, (of balls, metaphorically speaking of course), soon and share something I've written here. When I do, constructive criticism is welcomed.
