Hey man, I love the unOrdinary story that you made and I thought of an idea if it's okay.
          
          My idea is that John is getting used to someone's aura that he doesn't need the person to activate or be near for him to use it.

            I get what you're saying, he'd be able to remember how the aura is shaped and molded into the person's ability and can do it on his own without needing them there first. That's probably a reasonable trait for Channel Master users to have.
            
            That won't be the route I go for as I actually do plan on taking John's Aura Manipulation down a route that's different than what's been shown in canon so far, it might be a little crazy but I bet it'll be fun.
