Hello there! ^^

I’m an eighteen year old girl from Holland, who’s in love with pretty much everything that’s Japan related. I love anime and manga, but also the Japanese country and culture. My dream is to travel to Japan one day. (: I’m not only interested in Japan, but in most Asian countries and also in other countries all over the world. 

I also love to write, which is why I'm here. It’s my biggest passion. I don't write fanfiction, because I suck at it, but I write my own stories with my own characters. Mostly it’s in the fantasy or science fiction genre, because that’s what I love the most. ^^ My stories are all in Dutch though, unless I get the urge to write something in English, but that doesn't happen very often. 

Music is my escape, my biggest friend, maybe my life. It’s the one thing I can’t live without. I’m a huge fan of Muse and I will always support and love them. I also love Coldplay (but I don’t really like their newest songs), Snow Patrol, Radiohead, Imagine Dragons, Keane, Saybia, Kodaline, Rags & Ribbons (who aren’t very famous, but you should check them out, they’re really awesome!), Stereophonics, Mumford and Sons, Within Temptation, Nirvana, Pearl Jam and many more! The only Japanese band I listen to - which is maybe a bit strange, because of my love for Japan - is One Ok Rock.  

Of course I also love to read, and some of my favorite books are A Song of Ice and Fire, BZRK, the Gone series, Nineteen Eighty-Four and Inheritance Cycle. I’m sort of obsessed with the idea of mind control and I have no idea why, but that’s why I love BZRK and Nineteen Eighty-Four so much. (: I don’t really have a favourite author yet, but I can say that I really admire Michael Grant.
