Elliot Ward writes dark, atmospheric horror about ordinary people confronted by things they were never meant to understand. His stories often explore isolation, buried guilt, fractured families, and the quiet places where fear takes root.

Before turning to fiction, Ward worked in journalism and communications, experiences that shaped his restrained, observant style and fascination with the secrets people keep. His writing blends psychological tension with supernatural horror, favouring slow-burning dread over easy answers.

When he is not writing, he can usually be found walking through old forests, collecting local folklore, or browsing second-hand bookshops. He lives in southern England with his family and an unnecessarily large collection of ghost stories.
