I have an announcement to make. I've lost my passion for writing. I used to enjoy it but after a while, it just got repetitive and draining - it felt like just another essay I had to write. It became work rather than fun. Also, I have been working on finishing and releasing my first commercial game; game development for me is far more satisfying, plus I also have a financial incentive to work hard and regularly.

I'm not saying that I'm quitting writing altogether. Maybe someday, I'll come back to it. But, I tell you this, my love for telling stories has not diminished, it's just the process of getting it down that's worn off on me. Another writer had the same trouble - I forget his name - but he said, "Every word was like tearing the flesh from his body." Furthermore, it feels much more satisfying to tell stories through games and see my vision actually come to life in front of me.

If any of you are interested in the games I create and ones I will be making in the future, you can follow me on my game dev Instagram account @lukecolesgames

Thank you for all these years of following my work, I appreciate all of your support. Here's to whatever the future brings. : )

@ProximaStorm I was just interested in it from day one. I plan to start work on an action-RPG for one of my original stories I had planned for this. So, yeah, I still have a little bit of story magic to give. : )

@Elementman66 Hey man, I think I speak for everyone of your followers when I say that it's okay to take a break and figure things out.

I'm not good at this stuff because a lot of my other favorite authors have left and I've not really had anything to say, but you worked on like 11 volumes! That's insane! You managed to not only out pace RWBY, but come up with your own new concepts while doing so!

And while I can't speak for your other stories, you did super well, way beyond what I was expecting when I first started reading your RWBY fic.

I sincerely wish you luck in your game dev journey, I've always wanted to start doing that sort of thing but never had the means to do so.
