Echoes of Polaris

Hello, hello, hello! You can call me Echoes of Polaris, or Echo for short, or even Elaina! I'm your random water dragon college student, either writing, doing homework, listening to music, staring at the sky, or getting enraptured by cute/cool critters that I come across throughout the day! My profile picture was drawn by a friend of mine, Sugar Bagels! :D

Here on Wattpad, I'm mostly a writer. I write mostly fantasy, a bit of sci-fi, a smidgen of paranormal, and every now and then fanfiction. My current active projects are "Dawn of the Spirits," a high fantasy novel that basically serves as the origin story for a pair of EPIC heroes, and "Octo," a fanfiction of the quirky, colorful world of the video game "Splatoon." I love my protagonists to death, even if I have to put them through tribulation and suffering throughout their adventures---

In particular, I love a story with a mixture of light and darkness, wholesome fluff, spots of humor and bad*ssery, and characters whose emotions and experiences help me escape my own stress and boredom.

Now, with it in mind that I am a full-time college student, expect slow updates. I usually update once or twice a month when I get the chance. Thrice if I'm lucky. Weekly update schedules are simply not feasible for me. But! If you are patient with me, know that your wait will be rewarded with chapters that usually range from 6k-10k words, and I have put much time into writing, editing, and polishing every phrase.

I greatly appreciate feedback on my chapters, so please comment if you have the time. I love reactionary comments, and constructive criticism is like gold to me. Also, if you enjoy my work, please vote on it. It means a lot, and it helps me share my work through the ever-enigmatic Wattpad algorithm.
