Things that I dislike:
First and foremost, lots of storm at this, but...
1. Nico's sexuality: I have nothing against the community and think they are very courageous to face themselves, but with Nico, don't think it goes. It's all everyone talks about. Let's pluck out another character. Lavinia. When people talk about her, at least the people I met, they don't fawn over how she's lesbian and dating a dryad. But with Nico, it's all people talk about. Everything that he did in the original series that made it seem viable was either for Bianca or to save the world. Make his first crush Thalia.
Solangelo: Again, this ties into him being gay. But I really dislike how Will dismisses al, Nico's life problems then Nico goes, "oh hey Will, I like you, you know."
Bianca's death: Should've been delayed and Nico running away due to being scared of people' s reactions to him being a son of Hades. Should've died in the fourth book, which leads to Nico's deepest, darkest secret being that he killed Ethan Nakamura, his sister's killer, which he believes make him just as bad as them.
