Hey y'all! Wanted to let ya know that I'm currently working on the next chapter of Flowered Daggers while also planning out another Persona 5 story that's inspired by the club Jazz Jin in P5 Royal.
This will be another Joker x Reader, but gonna try again at the gender neutral approach. It might be a little rough at first, but the only way to get better is through practice! And yes, I know Ren Amamiya is Joker's finalized canon name, but I still prefer the manga canon name of Akira Kurusu so that's what I'm going with.
This new story is still in the rough outline stages, but here's a little bit of an idea on what to expect:

This is your third year attending the prestigious Kosei High in hopes of making it big in the music industry. With Kosei being well known for it's fine arts programs and mentorships, your chances are looking very good. This is especially true given your skillful mastery of several different instruments and composing your own songs.
As with everyone else in these trying times, however, you have your own share of problems. If anyone paid attention to your musical tales, some might even say you could use a little help from the Phantom Thieves. That is, if you even believed your problems to be worth the famous Thieves' time. This being said, nothing in life is free and a choice ultimately must be made...
Caught up in an unfair situation, which path will you walk in the end? Will you submit to a contract that would control your life and music career, but easily support your struggling family? Or will you make a selfish vow to keep your musician's soul free, even if it means risking everything you hold dear? These are the two options you're faced with - the struggle that keeps you up at night… and the deadline draws ever closer.
But perhaps the path forward is hidden in a deal made from a chance encounter one summer evening...
