NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals' Cameron Gilbert holds a Ph.D. in psychology and a post-doctoral fellowship in geropsychology with a sub-specialty focus in geriatric neuropsychology. NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals is a system of hospitals that specialize in the treatment of patients who have serious acute psychiatric events and comorbid medical and/or neurological disorders. NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals' patients are too medically and/or neurologically ill to go to a traditional psychiatric hospital for treatment; and, at the same time, they are too psychiatrically impaired to be admitted to a traditional medical hospital. Cameron Gilbert founded NeuroPsychiatric Hospital in 2004 and currently serves as Board Chairman and CEO. Prior to founding NeuroPsychiatric Hospital, Cameron Gilbert held CEO roles in hospitals in Indiana and Louisiana.
