In case my stories brought you here: Thanks for reading, I appreciate it. If something else made you click on my name: Enjoy your stay, although I am afraid there's little entertainment to find here - that's my writing's purpose, after all. 

There's not really a story behind my nickname, only that one day I thought about the deer in the headlights, picturing this cute little big-eyed animal looking right at you, unable to process the situation enough to move. Relateable, I thought and changed my username accordingly. Since you are here to read my texts with your curious yet judging eyes, I think the limelight is the more appropriate term.

I am probably older than the average user, even if I do not even remotely feel that way. Some tell me to grow up, some that I am still young - guess they cannot really make up their minds either. 

My writing up to this point has mostly been fanfiction, with some original stories thrown in here and there, usually not filling a lot of virtual pages. I've never managed to wrap up anything that is longer than a short story, as they keep getting longer and longer while other ideas join the fray, bickering for my attention. Since this side advises me to split up my chapters to post more frequently, it might be more motivational

As you might have noticed by now, English is not my first language (what a shock, and read on the internet, of all places...), but since I feel comfortable enough to write in it, I do. If anyone finds a mistake or stumbles upon a word or expression that sounds off, please let me know, I appreciate it (I mean, I would be more surprised if you told me everything was perfectly fine...).
