David Morck

I'm a web developer/programmer at Cal State Northridge's Oviatt Library (Star Fleet Academy), where I got my masters in creative writing.  I am mostly a poet, but I dabble in narrative.  I read a reddit AMA by Margaret Atwood and she said this place is a cool dude.  I've been lacking motivation in writing new material, so this seems like the kind of place to do some writing and get some good feedback.  Be gentle and such.  I've had poems published at my alma mater in the Northridge Review, as well as outside that, Pudding Magazine, Golden Sparrow Literary Magazine, San Gabriel Valley Poetry Quarterly, and wrote a lit review for newpages.com --  I'm also the recipient of dozens of publication rejections, which only serve to make me stronger, like self flagellation.  One of my cats is deaf.  I would like to be taught how to dougie.  I like to play bass, and those are really the highlights.  The rest is pretty bleak.  Have I bio'ed enough?
