I used to write books under my own name and also as David Grimstone or Rotterly Ghoulstone. I was lucky enough to be a Tesco No.1 Bestselling author of series fiction for Disney and Penguin in the USA and Hodder and the BBC here in the UK. My books include The Illmoor Chronicles, Gladiator Boy, Undead Ed, Davey Swag and The Outcasts. My short stories have appeared in Knights of Madness (with Terry Pratchett & Tom Sharpe, Orbit Books) and The Edge magazine and I've written columns for SFX and Interzone, among others. I created the halfling histories of Stillwater for Games Workshop's Citadel Journal and Halfling Armies books.
