I'm  a young writer from Toronto, Canada. I grew up in a high-crime neighborhood which eventually made me a product of my environment. My sister was killed at age 25 in 2009 and my niece was killed at age 14 in 2015. During the time of my niece's murder, I was sitting in a dark place. A place where you have time to collect your thoughts. A place where some may never see freedom again. I asked myself one day where do I see myself in 10 years. For some reason, I didn't have an answer. Until one summer day, I decided to write a few lines. I showed it to a friend and he said: "that's dope, but where's the rest of the story." That's when I knew I had it in me to be a writer, so I kept on writing. I try to make all my stories deep, heartfelt, painful, and realistic. Also, my stories tend to reflect urban Toronto in some way, shape, or form.
