Hey everyone! Just want to give an update…

          	- First of all, thank you *so* much to everyone who gave me feedback on my temporary demo of “The Transfer”—y’all were both encouraging and incredibly constructive/helpful! I also enjoyed reading your own works. :)

          	- Next, I wanted to let everyone know that I will be pretty quiet for the next few months. While I was hoping to begin posting the full version of “The Transfer” in October, I believe it would be best for me, the story, and you guys to move the “start” date back until I know I’m ready. As a college senior, life is insanely busy during the semester, and I know from last year I won’t have much time or energy to write during this time.

          	- SO, the earliest you will be seeing “The Transfer” again is in December or January, but no promises unfortunately. I want to put the time in to not only make quality edits, but also promote and interact the way I have all summer. I’ll get there eventually, but I’m not quite sure when. I promise I’ll keep you updated, and patience is appreciated. :)

          	- Finally, if you are one of the many people I connected with this summer, I just want to genuinely thank you for making “Summer 2019” one of the best summers ever. I knew there was something special I wanted to uncover when I began WattPad in May, but I had *no idea* this community would be so enriching and fun. If you’re reading this, I hope you stick around. Chances are, if I read any of your work this summer, its still in my library and might be read again at some point—y’all have such lovely stories to tell!

For those who are in school, I wish you the very best this year. For those who are not, I hope you have a wonderful Autumn. Regardless, see you in December! <3

@JWWang Thank you so much! It was a crazy but amazing semester. XD Don’t think I’ll be able to get much done before the next semester, but I should be back in business for summer. :D

@DS_Solana I understand where you're coming from. School can get suffocating and overwhelming. I hope you do/did well, and I can't wait until you're back!

Hi everyone! Some of you may have noticed I posted a new story—its actually just a "demo" of a story for feedback for feedback purposes. If you are interested in mutual feedback, please let me know!

This is an old work from a few years back that I would like to finish, but before I start making big editing decisions regarding the direction of the story—I just need to know if it is making sense, engaging, developed, well-written, ect. It’s a very different tone than how I usually write.

“The Transfer” (as its called right now) is a general YA book with undertones of satire. It’s not supposed to be taken too seriously. Understanding YouTube’s culture and community would be beneficial for reading this—but its cool if you don’t. This is *NOT* fan-fiction but provides commentary and a little humor on YouTubers and their platform, using entirely original (yet slightly stereotypical) characters.

          So here are the rules!

          - Choose to post either multiple in-line comments as you read or one critique at the end of each chapter (or both) and I will do the exact same for your work of choice!

          - BONUS: IF YOU GIVE FEEDBACK ON ALL FOUR CHAPTERS, I will read an EXTRA chapter from your work in appreciation. This means you have the opportunity to receive feedback on FIVE chapters, for the price of four. These four chapters are my exposition and set up the rest of the story so an overall review on the characters, concepts, tone, etc would mean a lot to me.

          - I will read ANY GENRE—as long as there is no smut or explicit sexual scenes. Its just not my deal. *shrugs*

          - Please be as honest as possible. You are allowed to be harsh even, as long as it’s constructive. Keep in mind, I have the right to do the same to your work if needed. (I promise I’m super nice, lol)

Any help is much appreciated! :)

Hey everyone! Looking for an award/“contest” that doesn’t have a cap on entries?

I want to encourage you all to check out The Legacy Awards. They judge by a *customizable* rubric and will award whoever passes the test—No limits!

It’s basically like an “honor” award for great writing!

My friend @JWWang heads it up and she is amazing at what she does, so be sure to check her out!

The final two chapters of The Lifeless Light are now posted! So excited to see this story draw to a fitting close—I hope y’all enjoy!

I will be posting an afterword soon. If you’re interested in hearing me discuss my inspirations, take-aways, and how this story came to be, keep a lookout for it! I promise I’ll make it worth your time. :)

After this I will be somewhat quiet, in regards to posting new content, for awhile. I will be preparing my next story until the end of August—when I hope to begin posting again.

          See you then! :D

@JWWang Thank you so much! The next is actually going to be completely original! The two fan-fictions I wrote are actually some of my youngest projects (both came into being within the last year). I'm actually a majority YA fiction writer!

This next story is one I've been working on since I was about 16 and its one of the quirkiest I've ever written. Lol. Its a YA fiction/satire currently around 60,000 words, but in need of a good bit of editing! Lol. My goal is to have it post-able by the time I go back to college. :)

Hey everyone! Just wondering if anyone else is noticing Wattpad taking a few spaces out between words when updating a section of a story? It's a weird bug that's been happening to me the past few days. Double-check your edits y'all!

JWWang

@DS_Solana omg ;_; At least this gives me a chance to proofread everything. :D

Chapters 11 and 12 of The Lifeless Light are now up! We are nearing the end of our story and things are escalating *quickly*. Clancy is about to be pushed further than ever before.

Get ready for the two chapter conclusion coming this Saturday - along with an afterword. The ending of this story turned out better than I expected, personally - so I think you're in for a treat!

See you then, but for now - enjoy. :)
