I read The Goddess’s Gift not too long ago and I felt like I should reach out, even if just to say this.
There is a quiet strength in how you wrote Faye. The way her healing is not just a power but something that costs her each time felt very human. When you wrote about her seeing an illusion of her own gift killing her, and still thinking through it calmly, it made her feel real in a way that is hard to explain.
I also liked how the world is set up. The separation between the Lycans and the winter wolves gives everything this underlying tension, especially when her mate comes from the other side. It makes their connection feel both special and dangerous at the same time.
What stayed with me most is that question you leave hanging. Can she keep giving parts of herself away and still remain whole. That feeling lingers.
But I also felt something else. A story like this, with this kind of emotional weight, can easily be overlooked if it does not reach the right readers. And it deserves to be seen properly.
