Hello again everyone! I really don't mean to make so many announcements, but I wanted to repost a blurb I wrote within the text for "What Makes a Snowbaroo - The Audiobook" so that it would be more transparent about my plans to remove that particular derivative work soon.
-- After some consideration, I've decided on pulling this audio version of what has become my flagship novel and main work. The amount of time and quality of the result, being text-to-speech and not utilizing real voice actors like I would have preferred, has proven to not be worth the effort. I'd much rather spend time writing new content than generating audio for the older content, in other words.
At some point, I might look for other creators who had time to collaborate on this little side project, though my whole purpose in writing this novel was bringing the episodic feel and character interactions of situational comedy to the written page. Creating audio such as this seems to take it another step back towards mainstream comedy as seen through mediums like television, thus losing something in translation.
If any of my readers feels differently about this, definitely DM me! I am open to hearing others' thoughts, and I will leave this work up for another few weeks just in case; otherwise, I will be pulling it. Thanks! --
