New here. I've been writing my slow burn romance novel Between Heartbeats for a while now and I'm finally getting brave enough to put chapters up as I go. Fair warning, I'm learning this as I write it, so expect some rough edges while I find my feet.
Outside of writing I'm based in Wales, work in a job that's about as far from romance novels as it gets, and came to fiction after years of doing something completely different for a living. Reading has always been the constant though.
As a reader I go for fantasy, sci fi, slow burn romance, and I have a real soft spot for whump. As a writer that's exactly what I'm chasing too: tension you can feel building, characters who actually have to choose something rather than just drift into each other. I like a bit of fan fiction when the mood strikes, so don't be surprised if that shows up alongside the original stuff.
