I mean, I know why, it’s because everyone’s got a bajillion partner and kids for some reason (Daemon Targaryen had 3 wives and 5 kids total and that is 3 wives and 5 kids more than he deserved), but STILL.
Wattpad deciding to get rid of DMs while I was considering getting back into roleplaying was certainly an interesting timing, I will admit.
But mostly I’m just annoyed I won’t have a way to get private info for apply fics anymore. I know most people didn’t use it, but I liked giving the option to have plot twists for their applications that the others couldn’t just. Read in their form.
Like RITF would have been significantly less fun (for me at least) if everyone wasn’t guessing each others secrets.
Sitting there listening to people be like “Sanis didn’t kïll anyone, that would be too obvious,” fully knowing he very much did, was such an experience. And I hate that future authors won’t be able to have it (unless they have some other private communication, but I digress.)
Decided to make a top ten of my favorites of my OCs as something easy and fun to do, and I'm already regretting it. Like what do you MEAN I have more than ten babies???

Someone tell me WHERE I got the idea that plots in Shadow & Bone season 2 were a month off?
I swear it was that exact amount and there was some sort of time skip thingy right before the Winter Fete to catch the little palace plot up – I've literally thought this since I watched the show – but the difference was actually two weeks (Dreesden says Alexei crossed the Fold "two weeks ago" when he shows him to the crows and they leave right away) and I can't find any catch up between the plots?? Like it just Does Not Acknowledge a difference, not even a two week one??
My first guess was that the 2 weeks it took for the Crows to get the job was, IDK, while Alina was to the Little Palace, and they left as she arrived. But that doesn't account for the time it'd take them to cross an ocean and a large part of a continent?
I really hope someone knows what's up with this, because I do not.
According to Kaz, Kribirsk, right on the Fold, is 3 days from the Little Palace.
Also I think I was think of the training montage with Baghra, which is implied to take place over days (?)
Why am I even doing this? This is so much more than the actual show did, embarrassing.
TBH I think I was just really into having that extra time for Little Palace plotting, especially because the characters didn’t even show up until 2 episodes in.
Yeh I’m watching the show and Alina just said the Fold to Os Alta is 200 miles. The distance between Ketterdam and the Fold is that and some. Even with them finding out at the same time as Alina arrives at the Little Palace, there should be another gap for them.
I can't believe I only just noticed this. Right when I wanted to get back into writing, too, smh. :/
I dunno how much interaction this is going to get, but I'd really appreciate if my Playing Monster guys would check out this poll. :)

1. I have plans for the two ideas! While I have a feeling I know which you guys will prefer, I wanted to throw it out anyway.
2. My plan for Playing Monster is to finish season 1 from the show and an adapted season 2. After that, I plan to have a connected apply fic that is based on the BOOK Six of Crows (with some adaptation from the show.) If that effects how you vote.

Had a dream of what could be best described as a Percy Jackson/Hunger Games combo. (Actually I dunno how Hunger Games it actually was, because the format was more round-Robin bracket tournament than full on battle royal, but it was 1 kid per godly parent so my brain instantly went to Hunger Games & the districts.)
Torn between “typical dream weirdness” and “Wattpad would fúcking love this.” Which honestly might be the same thing (with love, of course. XD)
The worst part is they probably WOULD think “dèath tournament to decide which of us has the coolest kids” is a good idea. ;—;
