A dps trouper shot and killed 28 year old Dion Johnson for pulling over on the loop 101 in my home town of Phoenix Arizona on I believe the 28 but don't quote me on that. He did what Arizona state law says (and I would know this as I've studied the drives manual only weeks ago) and pulled over to sleep because he was tired and did not want to cause and accident. He was found and shot because of a supposed "struggle". Back to George Floyd though. This man was held to the ground with a knee on his neck. His last words were a plead to the officer of I quote "Please let me breath" this was a man who yes got arrested when he was younger but when he got out he changed his life around he got a stable job and even made a video telling people how he wants my generation to do better but we need our elders help. He just wanted to help us and wanted peace. He is being called the gental giant. The officer was again on this man for 8 minutes and sorry correction 46 second. There were three officers just standing by and watching. One check George's pulse and said there was none. He told Derek he should stop but no one intervieved otherwise. Derek was on George for another 2 minutes and 53. Before George dies this 46 year old man called for his mother and said he couldn't breath to which the officer responded "You're talking just fine.". Okay guys this is something that needs to be said so I'm just going to say it. I am so mad and disappointed with America right now. Black people are constantly being killed right now by police officers all over America right now. The one that is causing the most uproar happens to be the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis Minnesota. In case you don't know or don't k ow all the facts this was a black man that was being arrested for forging a $20 bill (only 20 may I add) because he lost his job much like many other American's but still needed to groceries to LIVE. And yet he was killed. A police officer by the name of Derek H. Chauvin killed him by kneeling on his windpipe for 8 minutes and 43 seconds. This officer was former military so he knew this was a killing or almost killing move. It was also stated this was not a move that the police department authorized. This officer was also put on PAYED leave in 2011 for shooting and killing Alaskan Native American Leroy Martinez, Ira Latrell Toles, an unarmed black man, in 2008, part of a group of officers who killed Wayne Rayes, a Latino man with 16 shots fired into him and a total of 42 rounds shot at him, caused the death of three people while chasing a car in 2005 with another cop, and has 12 police brutality cases filled against him and yet he's still on the force.
