— I aspire to have a friendship like Aaliyah and Kidada's. Their friendship seemed so genuine and loving. They appeared to have sisterhood for real. Given the interviews I have seen of Aaliyah and a few of Kidada, they cared for one another immensely, and their friendship was deep. It was not a fake friendship. They were not only friends because they were pretty or because they each could've benefitted from being friends, but because they clicked and truly cared for one another. Even Aaliyah and Ananda's friendship I want fr the way she got emotional in '22 while listening to Aaliyah's music was so real and beautiful. Her reaction shows that Aaliyah was her real friend and that she made an impact on her life. I want someone to feel that way about me and vice versa. I want a friend who I can trust, travel with, is going to defend when I'm not around, who's loyal and cares for me, etc...
