OK, I was born in Ashford, Middlesex and live in England. I don't have a home town as such as I've always been a wanderer. I grew up in Berkshire but lived in London, Worcestershire, Devon, Hampshire and now Manchester.
I'm married to a wonderful Devonshire lass and have four kids. We have chosen to stay put till they finish school (roll on 2027) but then who knows. Maybe the moon?

I'm a big believer in the saying ' we are what the environment in which we live in makes us' so to define myself I would say I have the stubbornness and discipline but also the wanderer the my mother installed in me, followed by a deep love of techomology and mechanisms with a cult following of science and computer games. 
My tag CmdWillis is a throwback to my days, well years playing ELITE in its many versions cent it's current as my computer can't handle the power needed to run ELITE: Dangerous (I'll stop crying one day....).

I've worked all types of jobs for the purpose of income from office administration to mo groundsmen, but the role that gave me my character was the time I spent in the British Army.
I first tried it straight after school but the culture shock hit me hard and I left during basic training,  but being a Stubborn bugger I tried again though this time I joined the Terratorial Army is Worcester which at the time was the 214 Battery Royal Artillery Air Defence. Nothing builds character like firing a shoulder launched surface to air missile off the Welsh coast.
After meeting and moving in with the wife in Devon we found getting a living wage next to impossible there so I again signed away 3 years of my life to the regular army and became a medic this time. In 2006 I got the call and was sent to south Afghanistan but after five months out I started suffering depression and a year later left.
Today (10/215) I'm working as a security guard which is given me time between duty to pen down some story's I've had over the years.
