i was born and raised in Germany. however, at a young age, i discovered my interest and passion for japan, initially through movies and literature. after completing my education, i was very impressed by the beauty of japanese nature and the hospitality of the people there. my enthusiasm and love for the country with such a long tradition, its contradictions and rituals that still determine life in many areas, continues to this day.

i have always been drawn to books that provide insight into asian cultures. japanese literature has been an important source of inspiration for me, and i have spent countless hours reading japanese authors such as Haruki Murakami, Yukio Mishima and Kobo Abe, and others. their works have given me a deeper understanding of japan's complex history and culture and help shape my own writing.

in my own books, i want to express my admiration and love for japan and its culture. at the same time, i try to build a bridge between the two cultures. i aim to promote understanding and appreciation for japanese culture. if i have succeeded in doing so with you, dear reader, i have fulfilled me a wish and possibly sparked your interest in other topics from my books.
