I got my start writing fanfiction, and I'm not ashamed! Much. I received emails, messages and reviews from fans telling me I should 'do this professionally'. I didn't; because I am a coward and life as a digital designer, copywriter and coder is more dependable. But in the end, my husband's nagging wore me down: "You could be the next '50 Shades of Gray' and I could retire!" Unfortunately, I'm terrible at writing smut. I am sad about this; I'd love for my husband to be able to retire and just work for me so I could nag him.
