I  spent the past four years getting a Master's in English Literature. Having spent all my free time reading the canon, I am sick of it and I want to write something for myself. I want to decolonize American Literature and literary spaces. I'm tired of whiteness. 

I'm a Latinx writer, my objective is to write Latinx stories. While I aim to provide diverse voices within my narratives, I know I have room for improvement. Please let me know if you feel I'm out of line or culturally insensitive. I will always try my best to write the world as I see it but I am human and I'm prone to error. Having said that, please be gentle in your critique. To quote a friend, "am [writer] baby." 

I do not have a background in creative writing but I am looking  to write creatively, both for fun and for my mental health. Writing is intellectual nourishment and after four years of graduate school, I'm ready to feast.
