Hi, I was just wandering if you are still writing the Curse of the Warhawks book? Or if you are still writing at all as it has been a while since you've been active.

AvalancheO

Hi, thanks a lot for the interest! Yeah I’m not super active here, this account really started as an archive for my writing. I’m looking to publish professionally so I’m not churning out content here aside from previews and early drafts. Blackheart, for example, is the entire first draft of a book I’ve self-published.

I’m still writing Curse of the Warhawks, I haven’t stopped. It’s planned to be a multi-book series. I’ve finished the first draft of the second book and I’m near the end of the second draft for book #1. If you’re interested, you could beta read CotW. Feedback is very appreciated and helps me a ton!

Hi there! I saw what you wrote about Blackheart being published on Amazon and I wanted to ask. How did you do it?

AvalancheO

@eggyspahjetti18 Kindle Direct Publishing. If you go to the kdp.amazon.com website and put in your info you can pretty easily self-publish your book onto Amazon if you have the files ready. I've never published anything before and it wasn't too hard.

If you're interested in Blackheart I highly recommend the Amazon version, a bunch of the plot was rewritten and it comes with art of the main cast from an artist friend of mine.

You can now own a new and improved copy Blackheart for yourself!

My first book, Blackheart, was originally posted here. After several months of work, I've finally reached the point where I'm comfortable with releasing it as a retail book. Following the link below, you can buy a copy of Blackheart for paperback or Kindle.

The Amazon release edition features many corrections and typos, along with:
-Entirely new chapters, focusing on characters like Lexius and Leianna, who didn't get enough exposition and development
-A prologue for Alexander, showing his final morning at home before setting off on his quest
-Rewritten chapters, changing around events and even creating a brand new introduction of Palethorn
-Huge changes to Alexander, who is almost unrecognizable at first, and develops into the hero he was originally during his adventure
-Dynamic character relationships! Alexander is hostile to the others at first, but eventually comes to understand them and forms tight-knit bonds
-Character art of the main cast, a dozen sketches of the heroes of Palethorn, from the ordinary humans to the unusual heroes like Charles and Senci
-A little extra explanation and thank you

If you're interested in seeing more of Blackheart and supporting me, please consider checking it out! Writing books is my dream, and this is my very first step towards that dream. If you do end up getting this, thank you so much. Also, I'd love reviews! They're a writer's gold.

I just started using this app and i came across your book Blackheath and I have to say i am not dissapointed at all. I stayed up glued to it all night. Thank you for the good read. I really hope you write more stories like that.

AtomicZombie93

I think that would be great it definitely has potential to sell. I know id buy a copy. I think it would be cool to have a prequel story about the insectoid and reptilian war that maybe leads into sensis upbringing with his master or maybe a story of how the monsters were all sent to palethorn. You did a great job with building this world there are tons of different ways you could build onto it.

@AtomicZombie93 Thank you! It was really great to get a comment like this. I hope you liked it. I'm currently working on redrafting it in the hopes of selling it. After that I have a couple ideas set in the same world.
