Aurora Way

Hey, I'm Aurora and I'm 15 years old. I love Writing, Photography, R.P, Greek Myths, Psychology and Drama. I write when I am inspired.. I get inspired usually by my closest friends, and what they are feeling... My way of comforting them is to write long paragraphs about how they are feeling and what it is like... So I am often writing about the different things that affect teenagers in particular; depression, suicide, anxiety, self-harm, smoking, etc.
I have been writing pretty much since I was 6 years old, and wrote a story about a grasshopper that couldn't jump. I spent the last few years writing on a blog under an alias because I was uncomfortable with expressing myself, under my own name. However, a few friends recently convinced me to write things under my own name, and thanks to them I have grown confidence enough to do so.
I write a lot about Greek Myths and Legends and I often combine them into historical or modern day stories.. My GCSE pieces have all been tainted with Greek Myths and I find them a great inspiration.
I love to write long, descriptive paragraphs about anything - from a character or a friend, to a scene in something unusual.
I love books and films such as Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, The Subtle Knife, Heroes of Olympus and many, many others.
I was brought up by a Pagan Psychologist Philosopher Mum and a Buddhist Incredibly Religious Dad, so I often write about Magic, Fantasy, Philosophy and Religion.
I love to give advice and I love being the person that people come to when they need help.
Having had hard times myself, I often have quite a dark spin on some of things that I write.. For example, 'Suicide' was vaguely dark, however my inspiration from that was a strong one, as it was inspired by a friend of mine.

In short.. I love to write. It's an incredible experience, to really merge yourself in words.. and I plan to do it forever.
