Hello anyone that may be following me or curious about my hiatus!
First of all, I am shocked to see that my fanfic has gotten so many reads! I think that's pretty neat!
It's been a long time since I've written or read anything of any sorts so I'll let you know the scoop:
Currently, I don't watch anime or read manga anymore (sad, I know, though I do check in on the black butler series from time to time to see what is going on). I have instead been focusing on school, home life, and most fun of all, my artwork. It's been very important for me to continue working on my art for I will be applying to art colleges in not very long.
I have thought about doing some sort of graphic novel! A little over a year ago, I posted about my possibility of writing another book. I worked on it, but then stop because it was taking a darker direction than I really wanted it to go. Now I may revise the plot of that story and turn it into a graphic novel instead, or I will keep it as a regular book.
I find it funny looking at how my writing style has changed from the time I wrote my fan-fiction to just other story ideas that jot down and try today.
My advice to anyone trying to write a story is starting with drawing a plot diagram and putting down some of the main events! When I wrote the fan-ficiton, I didn't use this method which made it impossible to keep track of everything going on and closing loopholes. I was constantly re-reading everything to make sure it works, but there are probably still misunderstandings left in the story.
