In my  stories animals and humans are given equal placing. Girls don't have to be soft and fuzzy to begin with and boys don't strut around - they are teens who are bright but a little damaged. They come together with others and  mesh to make better worlds and the rest of society depends on their endeavours. Love is a thread which remains from the beginning to the end.
