Alvin Azril Mahat was born in 1981 in Tamparuli, a small town located in Sabah, Malaysia. The second child among three siblings, Alvin always had a keen sense of adventure and loves to read and write stories on ancient folklore and unsolved mysteries. A Hero's Journey: From Ordinary to EXTRAordinary is his debut novel.
