Hello, it's nice to meet you!

My name is Alva, and I'm a healthcare worker who lives on the beautiful East Coast of Canada with my husband and two sons. I adore coffee, lifting heavy things, long walks on distant planets, and my breakfast seasoned with magic. Although I'm in my thirties, I'm still waiting for my closet to open to Narnia and my personal holodeck. This seems to be taking longer than expected. I write epic fantasies full of magic and myth and soaring space operas in galaxies far away, all with a character-driven focus.
